Can I use a Floorthings pods in a spray and wipe mop (or a steam mop)?
The minimum recommended dilution for our Floorthings pods is 3 litres with a single pod. So we wouldn't advise adding the pod itself to the mop (adding it directly to the mop's tank). As it is meant to dissolve in the water, you can make up 3L - 5L s
Can Floorthings be used on wooden floors?
Our Floorthings can be used on sealed or lacquered wood. We’d always recommend trying it on an inconspicuous spot first (just to be sure that your floors agree with it).
How do I compost an old Spongethings?
Our Spongethings are 100% compostable. Pretty nifty. You can either pop them on a compost heap (worth chopping them up a bit) if you have one or you can put them in your food waste bin.
Can I wash my Spongethings or Scrubber?
If your sponge is looking a little worse for wear, then you can always run it through the dishwasher for a freshen up 🧽✨ The eco-cleaning-product equivalent of a trip to the spa. The scrubber can go in the laundry or the dishwasher!
Are your products vegan and cruelty free?

Can Homethings products be used with septic tanks?
Yes, the ingredients are safe for use in a septic tank 💦 Our ingredients are biodegradable, and our products have received a 'low' score in their toxicology risk assessments 🍃.
