Do I need to add salt and rinse aid?

The beauty of Dishthings is that it’s an “all-in-one” tab, meaning there is rinse aid and salt already included, so you shouldn't need extra salt (unless you’re in a very hard water area).

Are they mild enough to wash my decorated dishes / silver cutlery?

Our Dishthings are great, but you should always be careful with the fancy stuff. Our tabs aren't suitable for items with gold or silver decoration, crystal, hand painted china or aluminium.

What are your dish tabs wrapped in?

Our tabs are wrapped in PVOH (a 100% biodegradable material). There's no need to unwrap them before putting them in the machine. There's loads of research showing PVOH is not a contributor to microplastics e.g. https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/
